The Free Women's Center empowers families by taking the crisis out of pregnancy. Pre-natal care and post-partum care from pregnancy testing and ultrasounds through supplies and financial help up to the first year of life.
I found this place when I was pregnant with my second child. They have been so helpful with their baby classes. They are amazing, free, very knowledgeable and were so helpful after the baby came. They continue to help out as she grows and I couldn't be more appreciative. They can work with whatever schedule you have which is a blessing. Thankful for one in town.
When I found out I was pregnant I went to the Free Women's Center to see what services they provided for moms to be. They gave me a free pregnancy test and a free ultra sound, so I got to see my baby :) Through out my pregnancy I attended their breast feeding classes and they had more classes but they were during my work hours so I missed them. They have pregnancy clothes and baby items for mothers who are in need. I heard they have helped financed several mothers assisting them with either rent or student tuition. I volunteer my time for their Run/Walk they have every October, and I donate anything that my son has outgrew or doesn't use. They have resources even for those moms to be that don't want to keep their babies. There are LOTS of OPTIONS. A free center that offers a lot of help to parents. Glad they are in the area!
Before I went to the Free Women's Center I didn't not know what to do after finding out I was pregnant (with their free pregnancy test). I didn’t know if I was ready to become a parent or to try adoption or to rather just have an abortion but I knew I wanted to be educated and decisive of my decision. They educated me on every option possible and without their help I don’t know where I would be today or if I would’ve had my daughter Gabriella.
